More than £300,000 worth of assets were seized, including designer watches, clothes, electronics and cars, as well as more than £55,000 in cash, around £53,000 worth of crack and heroin, around £12,000 of cannabis and an assortment or weapons including knives, a shotgun and two pistols.

Chief Inspector Phil Baker of Lincolnshire Police said: “Drug selling and use is damaging whole neighborhoods and fueling the much darker world of County Lines, luring young people into a life of crime by selling a lifestyle after letting faith be tested .

“This is often done by asking for favors and offering a sense of protection, which can lead to the arrest of those exploited for debt slavery, human trafficking, isolation from family and friends, and physical, psychological and sexual abuse.

“As well as exploiting vulnerable people, County Lines' activity is also fueling addiction locally and drug use itself is only the tip of the iceberg. accompanied by a range of related crimes such as theft, anti-social behavior or violent crime.

"The leaders of organized crime gangs live lavish lifestyles, spending thousands on designer clothes, watches or gadgets, while people who are exploited to traffic drugs or those who use them often live far from luxury.

“In short, drugs are harming our communities and our lives and we will not tolerate County Lines networks in our area.

“As a force we have a unique collaborative approach to tackling drug use at a local level, working with local health services, addiction charities, homelessness services and local authorities to help people escape a life of addiction.

"Breaking the efforts of retailers who sell in our cities goes a long way toward breaking that chain and giving addicts a chance to improve their lives."
